I like working with people who really want to learn how to better manage and improve their emotional health and happiness. For me this means a little less time looking backward and more time moving forward, developing skills that will help them master their present and future. I work with all age groups and with many kinds of "presenting problems:" self-esteem, assertiveness, self-confidence, anxiety, depression, addiction, loss and lots more.
My ideal clients want to move past these issues by finding tools which will enable them to optimize their behavioral health and happiness, as well as ward off future problems, on their own. To assist new clients in their journey, I encourage and teach them to learn and use the new CBT system for emotional health and well-being that is carefully explained in the 2019 edition of Think Right, Feel Right.
